Nyvo runs on your computer. Your music, your projects, and the videos you export never reach us. We have no servers holding your work, because there is nowhere for it to go.
What the app does not collect
Nyvo has no analytics, no telemetry, and no crash reporting. It does not require an account to edit. It does not upload your audio, images, video, project files, or exports. It does not record what you do inside it or how often you use it.
Diagnostic logs are written to a folder on your own computer to help with troubleshooting. They stay there. If you choose to send us one when asking for help, that is your own act.
When the app uses the internet
There are three occasions, and no others.
- Video components. On first launch, with your confirmation, Nyvo downloads FFmpeg from its publisher so it can read and write video. This is an ordinary file download to your machine.
- Transcription model. The first time you generate lyrics, Nyvo downloads the speech-recognition model it uses. The model then runs entirely on your computer — your audio is never sent anywhere.
- Licence checks, subscribers only. If you subscribe, Nyvo periodically confirms your licence is still valid with our payment provider. It sends your licence key and a name identifying the computer (normally the computer's name, so you can recognise your own devices) and receives back whether the licence is active, when it renews, and how many devices are using it. Free-plan users make no licence checks at all.
If you buy a subscription
Purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy, who act as the merchant of record. They collect your name, email address, payment details, and whatever location information tax law requires, under their own privacy policy. We never see or store your card details.
We receive your email address and licence details so we can support you and keep your subscription working. We do not sell that information, share it for advertising, or add you to marketing lists you did not ask for.
If you email us
Anything you send to support@nyvo.video — your message, your address, and any files you attach — is kept only as long as needed to help you and to keep a record of the conversation.
This website
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads nothing from any other company. There are no tracking pixels, no advertising networks, and no embedded fonts or scripts fetched from elsewhere. Our host records standard server logs, as every web host does.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, have it deleted, or object to how it is used. Because we hold very little — essentially an email address and a licence record for subscribers — these requests are usually simple to fulfil. Write to support@nyvo.video and we will respond.
Payment and billing records are held by Lemon Squeezy, and requests about those may need to go to them; we will tell you if that is the case.
Children
Nyvo is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change what the software collects, this page changes with it, and the date at the top will tell you when. Material changes affecting existing subscribers will be sent by email.
